I just can not bring myself to watch. I know who I'm voting for. This latest election cycle has exhausted me. There is no escape, from the television ads, etc. Election day can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
Joe is kicking ass, IMO. He is doing A LOT Better than Obama did last week. Biden keeps laughing at Ryan and does not like that.Paul Ryan, so far, is doing pretty well.He is lying his ass off. Luckily, unlike Obama, Joe is calling him out on it.
Oh, and on a side note. Apparently Paul Ryan DID NOT want to be addressed as Congressman. He wanted to be called Mr.Ryan. SO far, I have not once heard the moderator call him anything but Congressman. He must be pissed.
Biden is on fire tonight and I believe Obama will be at the next debate. Ryan looks like a high school kid next to him. I'm so glad Biden is calling him out and I already see the SNL skit!
I'm watching the Yankees. These debates are all posturing and soundbites. I know who I'm voting for and nothing said (true or un) will make a bit of difference.
Biden is making it look so easy though.Ryan actually talked about people who had injured kids in a car crash. I think that was deliberate. Joe handled it with class though.
At first, i thought that Biden was grimacing too much, but after the foreign policy debate, Biden kicked ass on Obamacare. This is either the greatest strategy ever, let Biden go go go, or the pundits are gonna hate it. I kind LOVE the way Biden addreses the twerp as "my friend". Hilarious.
I turned it off at nine because of the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia premiere, but it was quite refreshing to watch a Democrat actually call a Republican out on his bullsh*t during a debate.
Bush and his policies are why the economy collapsed. He IS TO BLAME! It started in September of 2008,5 months before Obama took office. How is Obama responsible for actions that took place before he was even elected? If ANYONE should take responsibility it is the Bush Administration. I'm all for taking responsibility, but you are not even being logical or fair. BUSH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ECONOMY COLLAPSING!IT HAPPENED ON HIS WATCH. THAT IS A FACT.Deal with it.
Hopefully in the foreign policy debate Obama actually does show more energy immediately. Namely because Romney has no platform so not even an etch-a-sketch but a blank canvas that if Cong. Ryan's performance on such questions is any indication cannot go well.
Democrats and Republicans will both claim victory, it's just the way we roll these days. Both candidates had strong and weak moments. It was certainly more engaging than last week's "debate."
The one thing I think we can all agree on is that Martha beat Jim hands down!
I think the table format has something to do with that but Martha's always been a good, fair reporter.
I think the next debate is town hall style and you have to wonder about how Mitt is going to do face to face with the people. I also remember that being pretty bad for McCain.
It's funny going on Facebook to see what people agree with and not. Like I saw people who are Republicans complaining about Martha Raddatz not being fair to Ryan, but had no objection to Jim Lehrer not being a good moderator last week. People are really just going to see what they want to see.
