Back in LA next week for first time in two months and really want to see Book Of Mormon, all the cheaper seats are gone. Is this worth dropping three hundred bucks on?
Part on me says yes, a smaller part says no. I feel like Sybil!
I love BoM but wouldn't pay that much. Then again, my disposable income may not be the same as yours. :) Is $300 worth the lack of regret you'll have later? I dunno!
The cast is extremely talented. If you have the money in your entertainment budget, see the show. I paid full price in NYC and do not regret. Have since tried the lottery 40 times trying to see it again with the new leads.
I saw BOM in New York in previews for about $150 and was very lucky to snag that ticket, I couldn't bring myself to pay $300.
Rosscoe, have you seen Mormon yet? You could see it when you come back to London as it opens here next year, but then again if you did see it in London with the ticket, flight and hotel you are looking at about $300 a ticket, so can't win either way.
I would not pay $300. I would pay $100-$150 tops. But this is coming from a theater addicted 17 year old who makes $8/hr at Subway. So my budget is pretty limited, I only see what I REALLY want to see. Like WICKED & POTO. And sometimes AVENUE Q. Those are my musts.
I won the lottery in LA when I saw it so I don't have much perspective but I probably wouldn't have paid more than $120 for a ticket... If you're DYING to see it then go for it but it is a high price.
