Why was Sutton's wig a blonde but Stephanie's a red one?

Per going backstage and talking to the wiggles: the wig just looked better with the different Colors.

A lot of things change in different shows when replacements come in. Just look at Chicago, how every look for each actor/actress changes - some Velmas have short black hair, Ute Lemper in London had very German blonde hair, other Velmas have been red, etc., etc.

Sutton wanted to be blond...Stephanie did not feel blond suited her Reno. Simple as that.
