Remind me of the giant sparkly unicorn animated signature files that filled up MySpace before it was mybracketspace where 4 inches of screen space was taken up to say "thanks for the add" or "thanks for the ad." They always crashed my computer whenever I looked at MySpace and consequently I never joined.
It was going to be of Rachel saying to Chandler, under the Christmas tree, "That's a good story, Grandpa."
All in jest, of course. I feel in some threads we'd been using gifs forever, especially in the Community thread, but the board as a whole seems to have collectively discovered them recently. I can get how they'd be annoying (and the MySpace comparison is hilariously apt) but sometimes a good one in response to something really makes me laugh.
I guess that's what I think of the gifs as, just little zingers to make others laugh. And girl, when I learned how to MAKE them! Those are usually little zingers to make ME laugh.
