I'm taking my Aunt to The Lion King on Broadway for her Birthday. It doesn't matter to me, but I know she'd like to be next to the "Animals" as they come through the audience during "The Circle of Life". Do they come down the center aisles or the far side aisles? Thanks in advance for answering my silly question!
I assume they come down the more center aisles instead of the far aisles. I saw it on tour in a similar theater as the Minskoff, and they came down the center-ish aisles. I had to hold back an ugly cry when I saw the elephant
A friend of mine went to the show and was sitting near the aisle where the animals came down. As the elephant started down the aisle, my friend said he caught a glimpse of it out of the corner of his eye and thought to himself, "Oh, no!" "Here comes someone who's late, and it would have to be a big person".
in NY, they use both aisles. when youre in the audience facing the stage, the left aisle has the elephant and the andelope guy(the one that answers rafiki's call from up in the balcony, then has to run downstairs to join the procession) . the right asile has the white bird ladies (i could be wrong but I think that's how it was)
