I definitely don't think it is worth $95. I went to see it with three other people and we all left thinking it was very "meh." Nothing to write home about.
Good to know. I think I'll skip it then. I just really like Amy Ryan. I'm gonna guess they're trying to move it to Broadway with all those names attached.
I saw it on Tuesday and adored it...performances, writing, and direction (with the exception of one scene...) were all quite good. Certain metaphors are a little on the heavy-handed side, but most others are quite subtle. It's a play where, initially, the dialogue feels a little forced and/or peculiar, but lines begin to gel together to make a more complete whole.
I ended up paying about 80 per ticket. Ryan alone was worth the price of a ticket. Keep checking the Playwrights' webpage and something may come up -- worked for me.
