So stylish. she is, perhaps, my favorite actor and the person I respect most in the show business.
I'm of the age where I was able to fall in love with her as Mrs. Potts and rediscover her as golden age film star and Broadway legend.
My first cast album was Mame and in college a buddy of mine told me that if i enjoyed Angela Lansbury there was this "show about cannibals" that I should listen to. I did so and came to understand the meaning of talent and charisma - that they can occasionally be felt via a recording. Changed my life, so to speak.
