Another one of the most overrated actors in New York. Just like Kelli O'Hara, and a bunch of others that Casting Directors keep hiring all the time. They look great, they sound great, yet their performances are so uninteresting to watch. There is nothing truly unexpected, surprising or genuinely spontaneous about their work on stage. They are all style, technique, and looks - brilliant, of course, but boring. Other actors with far less recognition in New York are by far more interesting to observe!
It seems more like a digital artist's representation of how Cheyenne Jackson might look in a gladiator costume--like the thing they do to age up missing children. I guess if you squint your eyes hard enough and turn your head to the side. . .

His performance in Xanadu was far from uninteresting. Hilarious and delightful are the adjectives that spring to mind. Kelli O'Hara and Jack Noseworthy were the only reasons I stayed for the second act of Sweet Smell of Success.
That uber Photoshopped pic of Cheyenne almost looks like an animated character. Way too processed and cartoony. And he isn't so "soft" as portrayed there. Dude is a man with a sexy slightly frayed edge. In other words, he's hot as he is. Photoshop-happy graphic designers not needed.
