Does anyone have it yet? I may be interested in buying it and just wanted to know, besides the script, what kind of design/features/commentary/annotations the book includes. I saw a picture of the book and it looks pretty big, so I was just wondering how people liked it who have it for themselves. Thanks!
It's an oversize paperback with zillions of pictures. Like with Xanadu, serves as a more elaborate version of a souvenir program. If you've seen the show and are a fanatic about keeping souvenir programs (as I am), definitely worthwhile. You can probably get it at a reduced price on Amazon.
For reference: Rent and The Producers are show bibles, containing the complete book and lyrics, annotations, alternate material, information about the original production, and looks at scenic, costume and set design. Wicked's Grimmerie is a tie-in book. It offers little snippets of everything, but is designed more as a souvenir than as a show bible.
