So last night I saw STOMP for the first time which I never thought I would do because I'm not a tourist. It was enjoyable enough for the most part.
The issue I had was with the couple that brought their baby to the show with them which proceeded to cry and yell throughout. It began with crying about 15 mins into the show and the mother took the child out. Once she sat back down the kid started yelling about 30 mins later. The mother stood in the back and the kid started yelling out "DADA" and "CACA" repeatedly as the main guy was on stage alone. The actor took it in stride and made a joke about it to the audience but I was appalled.
I can't see how someone could think it's alright to bring a small child to a show that it extremely loud. I understand that the show is basically just a bunch of noise but I didn't see it to hear a child be unruly. Get a babysitter next time, lady!

When I saw Blue Man Group someone in the front row brought a baby. Needless to say, Blue Man Group is very loud. When the baby started crying right after the opening number, all three of the blue men stared the baby and the parents down with a look of curiosity. After that the parents took the baby out. I do not understand people bringing babies to shows.
