The timing does suck! I just bought a lot of dvd's last week with Warner Archives 4 for $44.I don't see when the sale ends but if I recall B&N usually has it for a couple weeks or more. I am going to guess it will go on til at least the end of the month or early August.

I did the $44.00 thing too, romantico. But I have been wanting the David Lean direct Noel Coward set for so long I couldn't resist.

I'll be getting the BluRays of 39 STEPS and GOLD RUSH, most definitely. I may not be able to resist the siren lure of the LEAN/COWARD box set, either, and DAYS OF HEAVEN may join my collection of upgrades, too.

Blu-ray.com says the deal ends on the 30th.

Bought some Blu Rays this morning and asked the Cashier how often they mark down the Criterion Blu Rays. He said usually a month in July and for a week around Christmas. This is good to know. I usually only by Criterion titles when they have this sale. with my membership discount I get sixty percent off.
