I was wondering how the Sister Act stage door has been? Any tips on meeting Raven and the rest of the cast? How long does it usually take for them to come out?
Yes, it's a well-oiled machine. Have your camera out, get your playbill out, and you will get your souvenirs. At the show I saw about a week ago no one was interested in anyone but Raven. Carolee Carmelo seemed surprised when I asked for her to sign my Playbill as she walked by. :/
Oh wow! That's a shame about Carolee! I actually really wanna meet her too and I have an Addams Family playbill that I hope she'll sign. Thanks for all the input everyone! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a madhouse like How to Succeed was.
Same, BraodwayBoy! Carolee was basically the only reason I saw that show. She is is so talented and so sweet at the stage door. It's so sad to hear that she's under-appreciated.
Please note: Carolee was still incredibly nice. It was just that at least 90% of the kids on the line for the stage door were there for Raven. I saw a Sunday matinee, perhaps a weeknight might be a little less Raven-centric. Friday night I saw Harvey and as I was walking back towards 7th avenue I was amazed that the line for Sister Act was rivaling, if not longer than, the line at Harvey.
tphili, I agree 100%. Carolee is so talented, it really is a shame how she actually seemed suprised when asked for an autograph. I do kind of see sense in that though, being as though Raven is probably alot more famous than her, being on at least 2 extremely popular TV series. But still, Carolee deserves credit for her amazing talent.
dtzumbrunnen: I am seeing the show on Wednesday night so hopefully it won't be too hectic. I actually wanted to see it with Patina, but my plans fell through. I am happy that I am seeing Raven though. I'm interested to see what she can bring to the role.
