^Probably because Doug Johnson designed that one as well. A lot of his original artwork was used for shows that the Dodgers produced in the 90s including How to Succeed, Footloose, Titanic and Tommy.
His best, in my opinion, was the elephant for The King and I revival.

I loved Johnsons's poster/album art for AINT MISBEHAVIN' as well. Evertything he did in th late 70's had that "glistening" look, with bits of light reflecting off the people.
