Take this with a grain of salt, but I am hearing GHOST could post its notice at any minute and that Kathy Lee Giffords musical Saving Aimee will be taking the Lunt Fontanne.
Unless they are transferring the production from a community Theatre in Bayone NJ, why would GHOST post any minuete? The show would take at least 6 months to cast, rehearse, build, etc. etc. etc. Did I miss something? Kathie: "People have been begging me to bring this to Broadway for years, so we got it up in 2 weeks and moved it into the Lunt."
by successful you mean it was a subscription based audience with horrible reviews..then yes. This show will die faster than Leap of faith. unless the church groups come out in MASSIVE DROVES
I don't remember if they announced the organization A Christmas Story would be renting from (i.e. a Shubert house, a Nederlander house, etc), but if Matilda does indeed end up at the Shubert, as some are now speculating, I could see A Christmas Story moving in to fill the time between between Memphis and Matilda, since last I heard Matilda is not planning on opening until after the holidays.
I thought I remembered hearing that CHRISTMAS STORY was taking the St. James after BRING IT ON finished its limited run. But I don't know if this is accurate.
