Which recent shows do you think will eventually get revivals?

Me and my friend were talking about this a couple days ago and I was wondering if anyone else had any thought on this:
Show of the past 5 or so years that will get revivals, not soon but eventually:

Shows we decided would be likely were:
Next to Normal (a roundabout revival in 10 years becoming the new Gypsy in which the the top female star plays Diana at the pinnacle of her career)
Scottsborough Boys Kander and Ebb shows the revivals somehow do better than their original productions
Bonnie and Clyde: I didn't personally love the show but other insiders apparently did and I think it just needs to be reworked a little
American Idiot: becoming the new Jesus Christ Superstar
Nice Work: Because its Gershwin
Xanadu: as soon as the show closed there were people saying that they wanted a revival though I don't think 80's nostalgia will comeback
Spring Awakening: Because it was so "ground breaking" i can see a nonprofit reviving it

Popular/Tony Winning Shows we don't think will be revived:
Once the show only works because how the current production is staged
Newsies only works because of Gatelli's choreography
Mormon: It won't close (the original is too successful that even when it closes it will be too hard to get away from the original production)
Memphis: its not a strong show
Billy Elliot: too expensive to mount

I can't ever see Bonnie and Clyde or American Idiot getting revivals. I enjoyed both shows but I just don't see it happening.

Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see American Idiot again in 25 years as a period piece. Especially if Green Day is still around.

As much as I adored Bonnie & Clyde, I also can't see it coming back- I'd love to be proven wrong though.

I could see Thoroughly Modern Millie being revived.

I don't think Bonnie & Clyde or Scottsboro Boys will get revivals. Some shows that I think will eventually get revived: Newsies, Hairspray, N2N, Spring Awakening, Wicked (i guess someday, in a long time, it will close and someday after that it will get revived)

I'll always be praying for another 'Ragtime'. If Kristen Chenoweth could cut her 'cute' routine, I think she could be a revelation as Mother. She has the talent.

If by eventually you mean between now and the end of days I definitely think there will be revivals of Bonnie and Clyde and American Idiot. It's just likely that none of us will be around to see them.

Scottsboro Boys will undoubtedly get a revival at some point.

I would really love to see a revival of Curtains, but I don't think it will ever happen...

In The Heights will get a revival if they can find the financial backing. no doubt in my mind we'll see the scottsboro boys back: it's too good to keep away forever.

The show that immediately popped into my head was Spring Awakening. I'll be very surprised if there isn't a revival within the next 10-15 years.

August: Osage County, already somewhat of an American classic, will definitely be revived many times in the future.

And, of course, Next to Normal. In twenty or thirty years we are all going to be bragging that we saw the original production.

Rent
Next to Normal
Hairspray
Thoroughly Modern Millie
Spring Awakening
The Full Monty
Billy Elliott
The Drowsy Chaperone
The Boy From Oz

Revivals I think we'll see soon (within 5-10 years):
City of Angels
Hello, Dolly!
The Secret Garden
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
Carousel
Candide

You know, there will probably be a West End revival of Legally Blonde (10-25 years time) which could very well transfer.

Ones we will see in the next 25 years:
-Billy Elliot (You know it will happen, it will just have to be a ways in the future)
-The Producers
-Hello Dolly
-Funny Girl (It was planned, but shelved, but will likely be picked up again in the near future)
-Spring Awakening
-Mame
-Gypsy (yes AGAIN)
-Beauty and the Beast (once Poppins and Newsies close, and maybe even the Lion King, it will fill the missing nitch in a decade or so)
-How to Succeed (likely not for another 15-20 years)
-Guys and Dolls
-My Fair Lady
-The King and I (is this still planned?)
-Show Boat
-You Can't Take It With You
-Next to Normal

What we won't see Revived:
-Spiderman (sorry, had to)
-Newsies (when it is done, it is done. Regional and maybe SETA is it)
-Annie (after this revival it will likely be buried for a LONG while)
-Priscilla
-Music Man (would love to see it if they can find a Hill, but it is doubtful)
-Nine (loved it, but no)
-Godspell (not for a long time)
-JC Superstar (same as godspell)

I would LOVE to see Bonnie and Clyde, but highly doubt it will happen. I would also love to see:

-42nd Street (again, haha)
-Thoroughly Modern Millie
-I would also love a revived production of "The Sound of Music". I think with new orchestrations and a new set/set design, It would make a great revival!
-Funny Girl (sigh....)
-I would love Les Miserables to pull a "Phantom" and just have a production on B'way that never closes.
-Sweeney Todd

Sound of Music, yes! I am not sure how i missed that one... With the right tweeks, and the right cast, it would be a string money maker.

I'd imagine that if the film version of Les Miz is successful (which it probably would be), the current touring production would transfer to broadway.

It is almost 15 yrs and I wondererd if the musical "The Life" would ever been revived, written by the great Cy Coleman.

I fear Newsies will become a piece like WSS and Chorus Line where the choreography will constantly be recreated like the original.

Someday (I hope) City of Angels. Surprised it's taken this long. Somebody will trot out Forum again.

Many years from now, I can see revivals of Caroline, or Change and Grey Gardens. The revivals would rest on the shoulders of the actresses playing the leading roles and would be marketed as such.

I also think a City of Angels revival is bound to happen real soon.

I could see Beauty and the Beast being revived but not until either Mary Poppins or Newsies closes.

I think it will be a while before it comes back, maybe more than 10 years this time unless ALW wants to push the arena tour on sophisticated audiences as well as the rest of the world, but I think JCS has a chance of coming back. It just needs to be handled properly, offer something different from the norm for people to see.

Although is very challenging to cast, Grey Gardens. Next to Normal of course. Are here any other recent shows even worth discussing? Don't get ruffled I'm only half serious when I say that.

I saw the original production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC in 1960. I went to the theatre with misgivings, but ended up loving the musical. It has a very strong book and, except for the cloying "Do Re Mi" has an excellent score. But why change the orchestrations? With the right cast, including the 2nd leads, it could be a hit again. When was it last revived?
