I was wondering how long is Steffanie Leigh going to be in Mary Poppins for and if anyone knew who the next Mary is going to be?

MARY POPPINS is about to close for 3 days then reopen in New Jersey, without any cast at all. Stephen Sondheim will be on stage in a black robe singing songs from the show.

I am sorry but who knows Disney however usually has great casts. It could be anyone being Disney but I do think hiring matt lee as bert and Hunt Bllard in Australia was a great choice. But I do want to know why this question is being asked ?

I am asking this question as I am a fan of the show from the UK Steffanie seems to have been in the show for ages and was wondering if she was going to leave soon!!!! I though that was the point of forums...I actually forgot how "nice" some people are on here silly me!

UKDanny -- please remember MOST of us are not as unhelpful as Jean or defyinggravity2. They are just trying to be a part of 'the in-crowd' and failing miserably.

If I had the answer you seek, I'd have given it to you. I would guess that since there has been no buzz about replacements, then there aren't plans for her to leave. Until THAT time, there would be no talk of replacements.
