Lindsay Lohan with porn star in new Easton Ellis/Schrader film?

A month or two back, Brett Easton Ellis tweeted how his new film noir script, The Canyons, he's trying to get made (with no less than Paul Schrader as director) would star porn star James Deen and was looking for funding via Kickstarter... Now he's tweeting that Lindsay Lohan will costar, and filming starts in July! I'm not sure what to make of this, but I have to say that random foursome involved in one film does have me intrigued...

And apparently in Ellis' campaign to make the movie version of 50 Shades of Grey he sees Ian Somerhalder as the male lead, which I admit would be one of the few ways to get me to pay to see that movie... (at least that's what his tweets seem to say when he'snot busy reporting on his boyfriend who is refered to endlessly as "the 25 year old"). But I'm not sure about Lena Dunham playing opposite Ian--hasn't she had enough humiliating on screen sex?

(Oh and now that he wants to get back into music again, I nominate Giorgio Moroder doing one of his classic dark synth/somewhat porno scores for The Canyons, to fully bring back the glory of his work on Schrader's American Gigolo and Cat People)
