I saw it. It's a respectable, historical Law & Order episode. If you are a big Chad Kimball fan you should go. He is one of the two leads and has plenty of stage time.
Student rush tickets are available for $15 one hour before the performance at the box office. Stagedoor is basically the lobby. All of the actors come out because it is the only way to exit the theatre, unless you're at a matinee, in which cast most actors will come out. I was at this past Sunday's matinee and all but 2 came out.
Wondering if there is any chance of this production transferring to Broadway or moving elsewhere? Chad Kimball's tweets seem to perhaps hint at such a thing.
1) "Love and already missing my #murderinthefirst cast... Here's to the next step!!"
2) Willie is sad #murderinthefirst had it's last show...but the future seems bright!
3) "Thank you, thank you, thank you! For all of you wonderful and amazing peeps who came to support murder in the first!! We ain't done yet "
Will be interesting to see if anything comes of this...
I'm thinking the same thing...I was at the closing show yesterday and it was phenomenal! They really refined the show and it is a shame to see it go now they have really gotten into a groove. I'm hopeful for a Broadway transfer...Chad would definitely get a Tony nomination for this role.
