Why give a production one tony and call it best play. Why not many just does not make sense.

I see.
"I think Glee is way too sharp, smart, witty, clever and emotionally confronting for the masses." - Dave19 - "What's next? Snow Black and the 7 Swaggers? Shasquirta and the Beast? 101 Weavematians? Willis in Ghettoland?" - Dave19, in reference to the new ANNIE remake.

ljay's point in case is once again illustrated.

This is the second time I have come across the "see what I mean" and I feel very out of the loop. Not that I feel a need to be in the loop, but I still want to know.

Ljay,

You are cracking my **** up!

A show can be technically brilliant but not necessarily the best overall. What's so hard to understand?
IMHO I see Queenie as being more of a brunette...

I pray you never have to teach Grade 2 kids. They would have little chance of understanding what you say. The odd punctuation mark in your post could help. It may still be rubbish but at least it might be comprehensible rubbish

Why? Because more voters voted for Porgy & Bess or whatever other winners you might be taling about. If the voters didnt see a show, they can't very well vote for it, can they? A running show ALWAYS has a better chance at winning then one that is closed -- do the math. You can't even guarantee that all the NOMINATORS see every show that opens, yet alone every voter.

I think they got very much right -- I didn't agree with all of it (but so what) but an awful lot of it. Just because YOU don't agree, doesn't make the choices 'wrong'.

(and yes, if you could actually proofread your posts and correct them so they say what you mean -- we'd be able to have a better conversation.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

drama611, yes that's correct, but shouldn't it be called best actor that we saw award? I know that I am poking fun. But I still shake my head at how touring producers instead of critics, choose the awards. The award(s) is aimed to make the sell rating of sell able shows more sell able :) not if it is the best.

I was about to post to suggest that people not make fun of posters for whom English is clearly not the first language -- something I assumed about the OP in this case. But then I saw that other post --"I was joking but see your point I will right better sorry write better" and now realize the OP must just be pulling our collective legs. Why would anyone write "I will right better" and immediately correct himself to "write better"? If you know the correct word, why use the wrong one? Or if you suddenly realized you made a mistake, it is possible to backspace and remove the incorrect one so you don't look like a complete idiot.

ljay, you are correct. The poster must be a young person, no doubt. A product of G.W. Bush's "No Fool Left Behind".
