With less than a week to go before Broadway's biggest night, the American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards has announced the line-up of performances for the 66th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10th. Neil Patrick Harris returns to host the awards, which will be broadcast live on CBS at 8/7c from the Beacon Theatre in NYC (time delayed at 8 PT). The evening, which will be packed with more entertainment than ever before, will feature performances by 2012 Tony-nominated musicals including:

Evita featuring Ricky Martin and Elena Roger
Follies featuring Tony nominated actor Danny Burstein
The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess featuring Tony nominees Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis and David Alan Grier
Jesus Christ Superstar featuring Tony nominee Josh Young
Leap of Faith featuring Raúl Esparza
Newsies, featuring Tony nominated actor Jeremy Jordan
Nice Work If You Can Get It featuring Matthew Broderick and Tony nominee Kelli O’Hara
Once featuring Tony nominees Steve Kazee, Cristin Milioti and Elizabeth A. Davis.
The evening will also include performances by Tony nominated Plays, such as:

End of the Rainbow with Tony nominated actress Tracie Bennett
One Man, Two Guvnors with Tony nominated actor James Corden
Peter and the Starcatcher featuring Tony nominees Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger.
The show will also feature a performance with Corbin Bleu and the cast of Godspell and Ghost The Musical featuring Bryce Pinkham, Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman.

As previously announced, presenters for the 2012 Tony Awards will include: Ellen Barkin, Candice Bergen, Jessica Chastain, Sheryl Crow, Nick Jonas, Angela Lansbury, James Marsden, Jim Parsons, Mandy Patinkin, Tyler Perry, Bernadette Peters, Christopher Plummer, Paul Rudd, Amanda Seyfried, Trey Parker and Matt Stone among others.

The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. ET here at TonyAwards.com with our LIVE video webcast of the stars' arrivals at the Beacon Theatre on the Audemars Piguet Red Carpet (courtesy NY1).

Then watch the 2012 Tony Awards on CBS, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

No specific mention of Hugh and Nina.

I think they should have let Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan perform "This World Will Remember Us" from BONNIE & CLYDE... they should have showcased this nominated Best Actor (although for another show), Best Actress, and Best Score.

I'm quite happy we get to see three plays perform. Helps that those three are plays with music. But nonetheless, it's exciting. And I'm also happy we get to see Godspell and Ghost. I'd rather see a reflection of the Broadway season than the now-and-forever national tours out there.

Thanks, keb! I had a feeling they might do Gold, and I am glad to hear that they are.

I, too, am glad that we will get to see some plays perform.

So...they're allowing non-nominated muscials, GODSPELL and GHOST to perform. Is this a first? And I think it's odd that the article mentions that GHOST's performance will feature Bryce Pinkham, Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman, but not Da'vine Joy Randolf, who was nominated.

@Luscious A recent example: THE LITTLE MERMAID, A CATERED AFFAIR, and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN performed in the 2008 Tony Award ceremony.

I'm a little miffed they're letting non-nominated, subpar material perform, but not the lauded, nominated "Venus in Fur". There has to be a scene they could do that would work on TV.

Another recent example is just last year when Spider-Man et. al. performed.

I would assume GHOST will be doing that annoying Act One finale where the three aforementioned actors scream...I mean sing...their lungs out.

Most looking forward to the Once performance.

@Dreaming, it maybe that the nominees not performing are going to win the awards

I wonder in what capacity some of these performances will be. In an opening montage? Separate?

Who knows? I just think it's a little unfair. There had been talk of sending Venus with both stars to London. (It seems to have died down but not featuring it won't help it garner producers to make that move.)

If END OF THE RAINBOW has any sense at all, they'll have Bennett perform one of the musical numbers and not an actual scene. More money, but it will certainly sell more tickets than showing a scene of her downing pills in her hotel room...

I'm assuming Starcatcher will indeed be performing the mermaid song. Since it does feature Borle and Keenan-Bolger.

dreamring, I don't think it's a matter of letting them perform... These shows fronted the money for some airtime.

For me, the joy in Da'Vine's performance isn't in her [mediocre] songs; it's in her scene work. In this case, lead with the attractive male lead.

Have we established what Nice Work is performing yet? I can't seem to recall.

I kind of wish Starcatcher would do something other than the mermaid song. It was very cute and funny, but I'm not sure how well it would work out of context (unless they have something leading into it) - and it is probably the part of the show that least demonstrates its creativity - the fact that the actors do so much with their bodies and the simple props.

Would someone remind me "why" Leap of Faith /Raul Esparza is performing at the Tonys? from RC in Austin, Texas

According to one of the cast members at the stagedoor last weekend, Starcatcher is performing a non-musical piece. I guess it's sort of a montage of some of the lines and will be about a minute long (if I heard correctly).

"Nice Work" is doing 'Sweet and Low Down' and Kelli O'Hara is singing 'Someone to Watch Over Me'.
