All I kept thinking through that "wifer" bit was that there are going to be Republicans watching (like there are Republicans watching) who will take it seriously and get offended.

Well, I know plenty of people who were offended with the Birther movement. DOnald Trump questioned if Obama "really" went to Harvard. First African American President and a hate group like the Tea party who question if the President is really 'one of us'. They question if Obama was really smart enough to get into a school like Harvard. Their racism is extremely offensive so I hope and pray there are some dumb Tea baggers who get offended and take this seriously.

Lets not forget, these folks are not the smartest people in the room.

Oh I didn't take it that way. I get where you are coming from and agree. Fact is, the right wing does not understand humor or sarcasm. I know a couple Republicans to who this day actually think Stephen Colbert is a Republican on 'their side' who sticks it to the Democrats and Jon Stewart every night.
