Has anyone recentley seen the SHREK tour? I saw it back in May 2011 in Charlotte, NC, but I know there has a been a cast change since then, so I was wondering how is it with the new cast?
The Shrek tour closed on 4-29 in Springfield, Mo. It was okay. Compared to the Equity tour that I saw a while back, this was a theme park show. I was extremely disappointed. That being said, there were some INCREDIBLE voices.
Yeah, they are on hiatus now. The current cast is going to Asia with the show for the summer, then a new cast kicks off in Anchorage in August(?).
This cast was the first time I had seen the show, so I didn't have anything to compare to. There wasn't much in terms of set (will probably be even less next year...who knows), but there were some talented cast members.
