Disney's Dumbo off? Beauty returns?

I guess Beauty would be considered a critic proof show, a lot of successful shows have been panned or gotten mixed reviews that ran a long time or are still running, Les Miserables got awful reviews in London but it was embraced by the public.

I imagine Beauty would have been had major interest because it Disney's foray into Broadway theatre and it was based on one of their most successful films at the time.

I think BEAUTY can and will be classified as the first Critic-proof show, or at least the first in an era to follow
