Actor Nick Stahl has gone missing, according to TMZ. The 32-year-old actor, who played John Connor in "Terminator 3," is thought to have been last seen in Los Angeles' run-down Skid Row district on May 9, according to the missing-persons police report Stahl's wife, Rose Murphy, filed with the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday.
I liked Carinvale, but I can see why it failed. Season 1 was so slow. They took forever to get the action going. Season 2, HBO must have told them to speed it up because they were moving at lightning pace. The show never found its pace.
After Brad Renfro, I was hoping that nobody from the cast of Bully would go soon after. The idea of the two leads dead 11 years later is just too much.
strummergirl could not agree more, and i am hearing so many sick jokes going around about his death and he's only noted as missing that it's making me angry, when did death jokes start before someone died? Idiots
He's a very talented actor who, I felt, never really got the breakout success that seemed to quiver on the horizon for him. I really hope he's found safe.
It would be hypocritical of me to admonish anyone making tasteless jokes because I certainly have done so in the past (regarding other situations) but I am sincerely saddened by this and hope he's alive.
He has drug and family problems, and as Borstal said, skid row is a serious business.
As far as his career, while he never "broke out" he works constantly and has one film that was released just last Tuesday, one about to come out in theaters, and three in post production.
He gave a terrific performance in a little seen movie called "Sleepwalking" which was a mediocre film that only highlighted how much he deserves better scripts.
I remember seeing Stahl as Dodge (the Artful Dodger character) in the movie Twist, a gay take on Oliver Twist, where the orphan boys are street hustlers and drug users. Prophetic, in that Stahl would end up on the mean streets.
