Other than the involvement of drag queen culture, this has nothing in common with Priscilla. It has all original music. It's going to be great.

Possibly. But one could have said that Priscilla was too soon after La Cage, but it's managed to hang on over a year at the Palace.

I worry that Kinky Boots is not very well known as a movie (although one could say the same thing about Once) and the title (the "kinky" part) may make people think the show is more risque than it is.

I like the movie, though, and hope the show is a success. Actually, I hope the show is good... and that it's successful because it's good.

The fact the movie isn't too well known could help them. It's a pretty awful movie, it can only improve on that.

I really enjoyed the movie! Not a fan of the logo, however. Hurts my eyes.
