Saw it tonight, and I miss say the show seems in much better shape with Raven. I liked Patina, and I missed her spark, and the way she commanded the stage, but Raven really won me over. She was just being funny natural self, and the other actors seemed to all be having a lot more fun than the last time I saw it. It really is a great show, with a great score, and the best set on Broadway. Check it out!
does anyone know if raven comes out to meet the fans after a matinee show? I'm planning on taking my daughter who is a big raven fan to see the show tomorrow afternoon. she would love to meet raven up close.
She hasn't missed any performances since her big absence. Note the radio silence on here from all her detractors. As long as she isn't constantly out I think we can all safely assume she was genuinely ill and move on with our lives.
I would imagine Raven comes out. She was a delight last night. She was waving to her friends/family/fans in the audience and having a great time at the curtain call.
She's only missed once since her big absence and that was I want to say last Thursday. There were 6 understudies on for that show though so maybe it was a company bug.
