Leap of Faith $49/29 Discount

Just got this via a Playbill email. I can't remember seeing a discount code bringing the price down this low ($49 for an orchestra seat?), especially for a musical. I know they're in dire straits, but do they want to bleed that much money to keep the show alive for a few more weeks?

How do you think they packed the houses the first week of the previews? I saw the show by getting a $29 "leap day" ticket for the first week of previews.

And as has been mentioned on other threads: its on TDF for 3 weeks straight. They need a miracle to keep going.

It is NOT worth $29 as everyone has said.

Also I would like to point out that just because it is on TKTS does not necessarily mean anything. Chicago is on there everyday, as well as many shows that have been running for a long time. This is not a sign of it closing soon.

i got suckered into the 'leap day' sale and thought $29 was too much after watching it.
There's much better out there- some high schools do better jobs.

it's just horrible.

Studentrush.org had it available this past weekend for all performances, I believe. It was up for a couple of other performances too. So, yes, it can get worse than this discount and TDF.

It's actually back up there for tomorrow and both of Wednesday performances.

tmbyru -- No one ahead of you said anything about tkts -- I mention TDF which is the sign of EXCESS tix because they sell them so incredibly cheap. (approx $40/b'way tix) To give you an idea how it's NOT a good sign: other b'way shows have two or three dates showing that are available; LOF is offering tix for 3 straight UPCOMING weeks -- a rarity, AND a sign of troubled finances.


Trust us, Leap of Faith is NOT going to make it through the summer.

I think it is well worth it. I really enjoyed the show and I hope they record it.
