ADDAMS FAMILY OBCR

Hey guys. Today I was listening to the OBCR of THE ADDAMS FAMILY. I noticed the song "Not Today" was really weird on it. When I saw the show back in October, it was sung by Gomez, but the OBCR sounded nothing like Nathan Lane. Can someone please explain this to me?

I saw it in October 2011, but the OBCR included Nathan Lane, and I know what Nathan Lane sounds like. I saw Roger Rees perform, and he sang "Not Today". On the OBCR I couldn't even tell who was singing it.

"Not Today" is a bonus track sung by Andrew Lippa. The song is in the revised version of the show currently on tour, but as far as I know it was never in the Broadway production so I don't see how you could have seen Roger Rees perform it.

NOT TODAY is a bonus track on the CD sung by show's composer Andrew Lippa.

Nathan did not sing it on the CD OR in the show.

Rees never sang the song in the Broadway production, either.
