Does anyone know how the student rush is for Memphis? Do we have to get there really early? Also does anyone know what Memphis is doing for Broadway Equity Fights Aids? I saw Sister Act and they sold backstage tours was wondering what Memphis had.
Most mornings, I'd say if you stopped by somewhere between 9 and 9:30 a.m., you should have no trouble getting student rush. They're $29.50 and put you in the front row or the boxes.
As for collecting for BC/EFA, the other night they were selling posters signed by the entire cast, for $60, and a piece of a broken record, signed by the show's leads, for $40.
'Memphis' recently passed its 1,000th performance mark, so I just revisited it, and it's in terrific shape. Montego Glover and Co. are still giving it 101%, and Kevin Massey is on this week for the vacationing Adam Pascal, and he's fantastic.
I saw it last summer and had a great time. You are right Montego Glover is fantastic. Saw it with Chad Kimble and he was amazing also. I was wondering how Adam Pascal is doing in the role of Huey.
Hey. Just wondering if anyone's tried the memphis rush this week. What time would you suggest I get there for the friday evening performance? Is 8am ok?
8am should be fine. BTW, went to box office today and they said they are not accepting discounts for the final performance and will not be doing rush either...
