I follow Libby Servais on Twitter, Patti's understudy from the Broadway production, and she announced that she will be singing the role of Lysistrata at the Joe's Pub concerts. Does anyone know if this is true? I know Patti has been shooting a TV pilot in California, so i guess it is possible. And if this is true, why didn't they announce it? Seems a little sneaky to me.
Not to mention that doing a "Lysistrata Jones" reunion concert without "Lysistrata Jones" is kind of pointless.

Lysistrata Jones will be there, she'll just be played by Libby Servais.
As for Murin, I'm sure the TV show she's working on is infinitely more lucrative (and more beneficial to her professional career) than a two night reunion concert of a flop musical.
So can I assume that no one knows the definitive answer to this question, whether she will be there or not? So glad you spent precious time on your religious holidays being so snarky.
Who went on tour besides Teddy Toye to Bring it On? Are swings planned to be there? Cuz I know Charlie Sutton is now in How to Succeed, but since it's Monday it doesn't make a difference anyway. No sure about Fat Camp's schedule for Jared Z.
From Facebook: --- Hey gang, here's the latest on the concert tonight...
> Jason Tam has just flown in from San Francisco to be apart of it all!
> Patti's sitcom has been pushed back a week so she is actually filming today in LA -- super groovy Libby the understudy will be singing her part.
> Teddy Toye is on the road with "Bring it On" and Alex Aguilar is on tour with "Memphis"
> And understudy Charlie Sutton will be doing the cast album to Merrily
But everyone else will be there -- and Doug has written some fun remarks and it's gonna be a ball! ---
While I adore the original cast - the concert is more a celebration of the music for fans of the music. If you're not a fan of the music - you simply don't go to the concert. Still going to be a fun night! I can't wait!
Wow, Jason Tam, the most ridiculously underutilized performer in the show, is flying cross country to do it?!? Really? Maybe he will (finally) get to sing more than one and a half songs. (for the record, i did *like* the show, even if it isn't really my cup of tea...)
