A Malaba peasant farmer was lost for words at the weekend when her plea to Internal Security minister George Saitoti over her lost goats bore fruit. Irene Nyaboke's three goats disappeared last week when the sound of a police helicopter carrying the presidential aspirant scared them away as it landed at the Malaba Primary School grounds.

Nyaboke then called on the minister "to be human enough" and compensate her for the lost goats. Saitoti give Nyaboke three goats in a ceremony at the Kenya Revenue Authrity's customs yards in the presence of collegaues Musa Sirma, Franklin Bett, Amos Kimunya and Musalia Mudavadi. "I am glad to pay back the three goats in compensation for the lost ones that I may not be laid accountable for anymore," he said.

No word if the goats were freshly washed.

Berry originally suffered the injury back in September, when she slipped while running after her daughter Nahla, who was chasing after a goat. Yes, a goat.
