I imagine Other Desert Cities, Clybourne Park, and Venus in Fur will be nominated. I think the fourth slot could depend upon how One Man, Two Guvnors, The Columnist, and End of the Rainbow are received.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body
and fighting for the fourth slot: Peter & the Starcatcher, One Man Two Guvnors, Chinglish, and Seminar.
(Rickman is more likely to get a nod than Seminar, and Chinglish is old news, so IMO it's between Starcatcher and Guvnors.)
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I hope ONE MAN TWO GUVNORS gets nominated...was fortunate enough to have caught it in London and can't remember laughing that hard at the theater, with the exception of Book Of Mormon.
End of the Rainbow will hopefully be nominated. I just saw it today, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. I have absolutely no idea how she does it, but Tracie Bennett puts out the most incredible performance I have ever seen, as does the rest of the cast. I really hope this play is at least nominated.
looking forward to End Of The Rainbow as well....not sure if it will be Tony nominated from what I've heard, in terms of Best Play (not that a nomination matters - its just the thread we are on...) I hear Tracie is brillant and looking forward to seeing her
Clybourne Park and Other Desert Cities for sure. Probably One Man, Two Guvnors and The Columnist for the other spots, but The Lyons could sneak in there.
