This girl is telling America not to support the Girl Scouts because they believe in equality, allowing transgendered boys to join the organization. Her video has made me want to buy double the amount of cookies I buy this year. support GSUSA!!!
"I'm an American, Damnit!!! And if it's three things I don't believe in, it's quitting and math."
It's almost scary how robotic that girl is at 14...you can actually see her parents' narrow-minded, offensive views that have deeply affected this girl.
That said, I love thin mints and plan to buy a lot!
Scratch and claw for every day you're worth!
Make them drag you screaming from life, keep dreaming
You'll live forever here on earth.
Samoas (or whatever the kids are calling them these days) are my absolute favorite!! I'm gonna have to sacrifice the extra calories for a good cause and buy extra.
"I'm an American, Damnit!!! And if it's three things I don't believe in, it's quitting and math."
Pippen, my husband's favorites are the Samoas. Mine are the Thin Mints too, Marianne. The girl scouts here have already delivered (in November). The Samoas disappeared in 3 days. I still have some Thin Mints in the freezer.
They don't start selling here until now. I'll have to check with my local council to see where and when these sales will be. I don't know if people still go door to door. But, I know nobody would bother to come up my driveway.
"I don't want the pretty lights to come and get me."-Homecoming 2005
"You can't pray away the gay."-Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy.
My favorites growing up were the chocolate covered peanut butter ones (can't remember the name of them for the life of me at the moment), though Thin Mints moved up the ranks as the years have gone by to be right there next to them.
And I admit to a fondness for Trefoils as well. Sometimes a handful of those and a cup of tea are just what are needed for a winter evening.
Did you know that every day Mexican gays cross our borders and unplug our brain-dead ladies?
Who knew a simple humble Girl Scout like she would have so much in common with many of the hardcore old-school gals at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival?! Womyn-Born Womyn Only! Wear red if you agree with that policy!
"Gays in New York are very forgiving." -- Edina Monsoon
I bet she's the most popular student in her home school.
"I think Glee is way too sharp, smart, witty, clever and emotionally confronting for the masses." - Dave19 -
"What's next? Snow Black and the 7 Swaggers? Shasquirta and the Beast? 101 Weavematians?
Willis in Ghettoland?" - Dave19, in reference to the new ANNIE remake.
Your link isn't working, Kad. I think you may have put it in the wrong box?
Between this girl's stilted recitation of her speech and her smug delivery, it's taking me a while to get through her video, because I can only bear about twenty seconds at a time.
That girl is definitely in the running for the Mount Rose American Teen Princess so, I am pretty certain big-city, no-bra-wearin', hairy-legged women's libbers or LGBT rights groups might say.

"In Oz, the verb is douchifizzation."

"Anyways" is not a word. Using it makes you seem stupid.
Thin Mints have always been my favorite. Last year they came out with a Lemon cookie called Lemonade which I LOVED. It looks like they're gone this year. Time to stock up on the Thin Mints again!
"There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate." -Charles Dickens,
I always sing 'You've Got To Be Taught" to myself when I read/hear of stories like this.
I was a Girl Scout. And proud of it. We were NOT closed minded. We were open and civic-minded, and did a lot of good, while having a wonderful adventure.
Shame on those who taught this young girl to think and feel this way.
I'm adding some boxes to my order this year.
"Two drifters off to see the world... there's such a lot of world to see"
1) You can get gender reassignment surgery as a minor?
2) Are there really a lot of transgendered Girl Scouts?
No good can possibly come from using this vast wasteland of error and deliberate deceit. You should get off of it and warn others away. You should make sure your children and grandchildren know what a corrupt and morally bankrupt institution it truly is.
Having myself a Thin Mint right now. Our friends bought some for us last year, froze them and mailed them to us while we were in the US. I am going to buy a couple of boxes for my parents just to support the inclusion!
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!
