New carbon monoxide and smoke detectors are installed. Nice to have sons who are more than happy to do stuff like that for you. Although I could have done without the piercing buzzing which went on longer than they should have. He would smile and say "I have to make sure they're working". He may look like me, but he is his mother's son.
