Anytime, my Love. Can you believe HC decided to watch the 1st episode (finally!)last night and of course got sucked in. He has a lot to catch up on before the finale! I don't why he hasn't listeded to me in the past months as I raved about how much I LOVE this show.

Too much Declan. Man how I hate that kid and actor... Anyway good episode, though I know this is a soap, but I love how EVERYONE seems to coincidentally go to the same New York "dive bar" (which really seemed like a fairly nice bar to me, I thought New York could do better). I also love James Purefoy but the whole tormented by his love for Vicky, always shirtless, poet romance novel thing was a bit much for me, even on a show like this. I am intrigued to see how he fits in, however. (As for Queen Vicki walking around with a sheet--I admit I always find this one of the most jarring of network tv things for whatever reason--of course I know they can't show nudity, despite making some in-roads in allowing slight nudity before the whole Jackson Nipple-Gate sent things back--but when you see people in bed obviously naked but so carefully and elaborately wrapped in their sheets, it all seems so ridiculous).
You're right, Addy, it does! Last night's episode was great, but, as usual, I feel like I need to watch it again. I really squealed out loud when Nolan appeared in the photo with his aunt. Finallly, an indication of how and why he got involved with David Clarke.
I agree - she got off that plane. Poor Lydia did not. I also bet that Jack is not the father of Amanda's baby. Wonder where she's been all this time and how she explained it to Jack? I need to watch the ending again. I don't think I caught what Victoria said that implies that Emily's mom is still alive.
Moony, I agree. That's not Jack's baby! From what I remember, she got in the Japanese guys car the night of the shooting on the beach. That was the last we saw her. I bet she was pregnant when she met Jack. I mean how many months passed that she looks that pregnant?
"There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate." -Charles Dickens,
Agree with everyone: she didn't get on the plane, hopeful that Jack is not the father (but that will take a while to unfold). I got teary-eyed right along with Emily...
I can't wait to get home tonight to watch it again.

Addy, I'm right there along with you. For the life of me, I can't figure out why Emily didn't off the guy. I knew when Victoria's ex gave her a warning prior to leaving for the airport that the plane was going down. I'm also in agreement that she didn't get on the plane.

No way Madeleine Stowe is off the show. I think even if she died in that plane, which I doubt, she would still be present via flashback planning to destroy Conrad from beyond the grave with messages John Forsythe as Charlie style. Ideally, she and Emily/Amanda realize they have one major target, Conrad, and become allies.
I hope we see Amanda's mom and am super curious who would be cast in the role.
Where's Takeda? How could Fauxmanda get out of his grip? This seems like him possibly misdirecting Jack.
I hate that we still have the Charlotte-Declan issue lingering. I was rooting for Declan to get offed but they just had to kill the immortal dog instead!
Madeline Stowe gave the impression on The View a while back that she didn't really love the grind of television (or acting at all, really) so I wouldn't bet my money on her definitely surviving.
Then I say she is stupid because she kills it every week and she has a good job in this recession we're in. Then again, money isn't everything, but still she makes the show besides Emily.
Plus she more or less left Hollywood before. I don't think that makes her stupid. She just clearly prioritizes other things in her life above her career.
