It seems that many of us have become hooked on the new ABC hit show REVENGE! So, think it deserves it's own thread (like so many of the other TV shows we love or love to hate), so we can share, dish and enjoy the storylines together as they unfold.
Who's watching, and what do you love about it so far?
"Two drifters off to see the world... there's such a lot of world to see"
I;m loving that Connor Paolo (Declan) finally got some good stuff to work with. His Eric was one of the hightlights to Gossip Girl for me, but in recent years kinda was just in the background.
Keep bringing the eye candy, show!
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
SOMMS: I knew it was Tink!
SO addictive! I'm also one of Madeline Stowe's biggest fans so it's wonderful to see her on screen again. But I am wondering after Emily "ruins" everyone in her picture, what then? There's not enough people in it to last for the full season so I'm curious what else this show is going to be about.
"I think Glee is way too sharp, smart, witty, clever and emotionally confronting for the masses." - Dave19 -
"What's next? Snow Black and the 7 Swaggers? Shasquirta and the Beast? 101 Weavematians?
Willis in Ghettoland?" - Dave19, in reference to the new ANNIE remake.
I thought about that, too... I'm guessing there will be stories within stories (like the divorce between Lydia and her husband). They'll broaden the circle, while keeping the center of the story on Emily.
It will require some skillful scripting.

I have a feeling Stowe's character isn't going to end up being the villain at all.

It's Emily VanCamp. She was on Brothers & Sisters.

Jordan- I started watching this show and just KNEW that you would love it. It's such a juicy, addictive show and I'm relishing every second of it.
To answer your question about it continuing, the series' creator has stated that the Emily avenging her father plotline will almost be completely resolved by the 13th episode. By then, they'll be setting up plotlines for other characters to get their revenge and so on. They want the point of the show not to be solely about Emily and her revenge, but rather the idea of revenge in general and the continuous chain it creates. It'll just kick start with Emily and keep her has a constant throughout.
Hope they keep true to their word, because that would take it from juicy soap fest to something slightly (and I do mean SLIGHTLY) more profound.
"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.
There already setting up lots of revenge scenarios -- the younger brother seeking revenge against his attackers, both of Emily's targets, and the drunk father will surely have a plot line. I read that the premise is sort of Lost lite, but much easier to follow.
Et al, lah ... Poof!
Cheyenne Jackson ordered me a drink at Standing Ovations 2 waayyyyyy before Girly hung out with him in the dressing room and he tickled D2.
There's quite a few great new shows this season. I'm also already completely hooked on PRIME SUSPECT.

I want to watch Prime Suspect but i love our British one and dont know how i feel about a remake of it, and also its ratings are so bad i dont think it will last long
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
Nothing new to add other than last nights episode was great, this really is a brilliant show. I pray when the ratings come out in under an hour it wont have dropped again

I'm totally hooked on it, was wondering myself how they would continue the show (especially since we basically already know where Emily's revenge is leading.)
I'll be seriously bummed if the show gets canned.
