Priscilla, Queen of the Desert has the theatre. Catch Me If You Can is going into the Simon, and Sister Act is between the Broadway and the St. James, with American Idiot looking to transfer to the Walter Kerr or Nederlander.

The curse of 'The Marquis' strikes again, with another flop, would I be right in saying that Me and My Girl and Drowsy Chaperone are the only show to make money there?

I'm trying to picture the Marquis's "Wall of Shame" that hangs above the theatre entrance, but I think the hits, critical & financial are only:

Me & My Girl
Damn Yankees
Annie Get Your Gun

Not sure on Annie Get Your Gun recouping, but I thought it did.

I believe the Marquis might battle the long forgotten Mark Hellinger (give us back our theater!) for biggest Flop House!

Gypsy revival with Tyne Daly, Annie Get Your Gun revival and Modern Millie played good seasons there didn't they?

Priscilla if that goes in will last a while and end the "curse" ...

Glad to hear that Catch Me will go to the Neil Simon, such a waste of a theatre waiting on the awful Love Never Dies.

Promises may have life ahead of Kristin Chenoworth... so that may not go to Broadway Theatre. Maybe Palace?

I don't think American Idiot will transfer... give it less than 6 months and it'll be closing! In The Heights could post notices soon too as could Million Dollar...

Jessica Phillips told me that Priscilla is going into the Richard Rodgers in February... whatever happens with In The Heights is anyone's guess.

I'll be doing a drag variety show there with tazber, phyllis, jerby, paljoey and muscle. Stockardfan and Danmag will open for us. Come check us out. We rock! We wanted the Gershwin but Wicked isn't budging.

In biz speak, its not really a question of whether it was considered a hit or not - its a question of whether the production recouped. I seem to remember hearing Millie didn't recoup.

Millie ran for over two years and didn't recoup. I highly doubt Priscilla is going into the Rodgers. I would be shocked to hear that it's going somewhere other than the Marquis.

I'm pretty sure I remember a thread a while back where we all put to rest the idea of Pricilla going into the Rodgers due to the restrictions of the stage- I too will be highly surprised if this doesn't end up in the Marquis
