"I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora and the everything is the same as in 'Avatar.' "
OK, that sentence just depressed the sh*t out of me. Really?? Are these people insane????
I'm depressed that I live in a world where people think a world created for a movie could possibly be real. I always wanted to live in Bedrock when I was a kid, but I managed to move past it. Eventually.
Yes, they are insane. And they must have missed the parts in the movie with the giant monsters and dragon-bat things trying to eat everybody on Pandora.
There are a lot of beautiful things in THIS world. They need to put the pizza box down and go look at them.

I'm tired of lazy journalists who write articles simply quoting people who post on messages boards, as if the expressions people leave on message boards have any relation to the thoughts and feelings of real people!
They don't!
And your job as journalists is NOT to cut-and-paste from threads on message boards!
It's as ridiculous as if someone were to write an article saying that the posters on BroadwayWorld are indicative of people who attend Broadway shows.
We're not. We're freaks. And so are the people who leave messages on Avatar forums and IMDB forums and Datalounge and FreeRepublic.com and HuffingtonPost.com.
WE'RE ALL FREAKS! STOP QUOTING US!
AND ARTHUR LAURENTS IS ONE OF THE UNDEAD!!!%$&*#$@!!!!!!
Bedrock is a good place to visit, but you wouldnt want to live there, Dan...Gilligan's Island however...

My Avatar depression was the feeling I had leaving the theater, knowing that I had wasted $13.50 and almost 3 hours of my life watching "Dances with Blue Monkey/cat people", and having been subjected to an incredibly ham-handed political/environmental agenda.

Taz, just wait when you cross somebody head-to-toe in blue body paint, just a loin clough, and speaking Na'vi.
I don't get this depression, withdrawal from people about Pandora. Cameron got inspiration for the planet from places here on Earth. I read he took the cast to a Hawaiian rain forest to get familiar with the surroundings so when they did production with nothing but screens and body suits there would be some authenticity.
Well don't get all excited yet, JG. They have sex by communing with each other the same way they connect to the trees.
"If you sync to your banshee and you’re syncing to a tree, why not sync into a person? I almost feel like you’ll have the most amazing orgasm, I guess. It was a very funny scene to shoot because there were so many technical things that sometimes you have to keep in mind that paying attention to all those might disrupt the fluidity of how a scene is supposed to take place. And because Jim was shooting for a PG-13 rating, we couldn’t move in certain directions. The motion would look a little too past the PG-13 rating standards. So it was really funny for Sam and me. We had a lot of giggles there."
Taz, that sounds like the kind of sex they had in Demolition Man.
When I was little I wanted to live with the Cunninghams. These days I cry myself to sleep because I can't move to Smallville.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
