The first of the year end movie award nominations are here. Like other early pre-cursors, there are likely films this group did not see (AVATAR, INVICTUS) and awards are always to be taken with a grain of salt. Still, fun to see support for NINE and other Broadway based enterprises (Kristin Chenoweth, EVERY LITTLE STEP for doc).

However, I will thank them for giving The Princess and the Frog those three nominations (See that movie ASAP).
