That's so weird. I was just watching Georgia the other night and the thought came into my mind. Mare's got a wonderful voice. So haunting. It also really made me wish I could have seen Jennifer Jason Leigh as Sally in Cabaret.

Rebecca Romijn as Gretchen in Boeing Boeing.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Angela Lansbury as Lady Bracknel in Importance of Being Earnest. If she has the stamina to do Driving Miss Daisy later this year, I'd love to see her take on the Wilde piece.

Robin Williams and Daniel Radcliffe as Bialystock and Bloom. I always wanted to see a comedic pairing in those roles that were NOTHING like Lane and Broderick, or Mostel and Wilder. Plus, Bialystock is a role defined by the improvisations of Nathan Lane. To truly make the role seem fresh again, you need another master of comedy and improvisation, and Robin Williams, provided you tell him to rein it in at least a LITTLE, would be just perfect. Radcliffe is funny, charming, up for almost anything, and his singing voice just sounds like a Leo Bloom to me.

I want Jenifer Lewis or Sherie Renee Scott to play The Witch in Into the Woods.

Williams and Radcliffe in The Producers would be simply divine!

And Theresa Russell can sing? Wow! Love it! I often wonder how many terrific actors out there really can sing, but have just never been given the chance to.
