Does anyone know what they count as disabled? Because I just got back from major ankle surgery and cant walk, I also have a note from the doctor saying if there was a line for handicap people he would like me to go in that line, just wondering if they would let me.
Yes, you will be fine. I too had big time ankle surgery, actually was just stopping by to ask questions and had to sit down as they were going through the disabled line. Only about 10 people (I got there around 11:30). When he came around, I was just going to ask the procedure, etc., but he took my info, looked at my swollen ankle and a bit later, I was given tickets. You wont need a note, I had a copy of my disabled permit from home (im from CA) but it wasn't necessary to show. Good luck, we loved the show.
Some friends and I are going tomorrow morning. With the rain and it being a Monday and before opening, do you think we'd be safe as long as we get there by 5:30am?
Since we're going to be a fairly big group, its safe to assume that we won't all be able to sit together in the show, correct? And do the line monitors start patrolling the line before 6am, or do they come once the park opens? Ideally we'll all get there at the same time, but since we're all coming from different places we might arrive a few minutes apart, so hopefully that wont be a problem.

That flutist was bad enough when I had to deal with him in person when I was on-line myself...perhaps a bit too much of the video dedicated to him.
The Actor, can I ask what day you rushed for? There seem to be a fair amount of people in line with you at 1am. Many more than I encountered when I got in line at 3:30 on Tuesday. Just curious if the lines are getting worse, of if it's more dependent on the day.
I'm just going to put this out there but I hate that flautist. No one is making him come to the park everyday and play so I shouldn't be made to feel bad for not giving him money. Does anyone think he comes off a little too aggressive in asking for money?
Agreed! So aggressive. I can't leave this line, no one invited you here, please don't subject me to your music (that's why I have headphones thankyouverymuch) and then act offended when I don't want to pay you for your unwanted "entertainment".
^ Yeah, I didn't see a guy playing a flute. There was a guy playing the saxophone last Wednesday going down the line all morning. I think he either was still there that evening or left and came back.
Yep, looks like they held for rain for about 45 minutes to an hour, but then canceled. Several of my friends had won the virtual lottery for today, luckily none of them had camped out.
I actually lost the lotto today, hoping to win due to people holding off because of rain, but glad i didnt win, because it would have sucked to go to have it get cancled. Trying lotto everyday this week! Hope to get in!
I have been trying the lotto for every possibly performance I could ever attend for 3 years and have never won. I had a friend sign up this morning and she won her first try. We went and sat in the rain for 45 minutes. We assumed at 7 that the show wouldn't happen because of how dark the sky looked, but stuck around anyway. A staff member said they would hold curtain until they would no longer be able to finish by midnight. Had they waited 15 more minutes, until 9, the rain, lightning and thunder were gone. Yes, I'm upset I didn't see it, I feel way worse for those who waited in line, and I completely understand why they chose to cancel. But why did they wait 45 minutes and not give it 15 more minutes, when it was so obviously clearing up? Is the show over 3 hours and 15 minutes?
I'm sure they have worked it out with the park as to the "official" time to cancel. Remember, once they make the decision, the actors need a little more time to prepare: so if they waited 15 more minutes, they likely wouldn't have been able to start for 15 minutes after that.

I was there again last night as well. They did say that 9 o'clock was the official cut off time for a rain cancellation. They have actually waited until 9 to start a show in the past.
I am lining up for the first time ever this week and would seriously appreciate some advice. If I were to line up in the next 2 days, what would be the time I'd have to get there to ensure I got a ticket?
Do they actually have people in their seats waiting for the rain to stop or do they hold the doors for seating until the rain is gone? I can't imagine how bummed out I would be if I was waiting in my seat for it to start only for it to get canceled!
