Plus she more or less left Hollywood before. I don't think that makes her stupid. She just clearly prioritizes other things in her life above her career.
^stinks that it's against The Good Wife ..anyway, the finale was incredible! The use of FLorence & the Machine's "Seven Devils" at the end was perfect.
This show is so perfectly balanced because I am a lover of the bad girl. Neither of the two female leads is 100% good or bad. 95% of the time I am rooting for Amanda, but I usually want Victoria to get away with whatever crap she's pulling, too.
ABC's primetime soap Revenge cast Jennifer Jason Leigh for its second season to play the recurring role of Emily Thorne's mysterious mother. Much anticipation as to which actress would land this role surrounded the show and has resulted in a guessing game for fans of the show.
Flashbacks galore, minimal Declan, Nolan crashing at Emily/Amanda's house, the return of the Queen, Nolan having a much better haircut, Takeda looking unrecognizable with his new haircut (and looking a bit 'different' in general), and the previews for next episode look even better and darker. I missed this show so much.
It really was! Do we know who cute English-training-guy-in-Japan is?
And does white-hair bad man not know that the very Emily that his co-hort, Victoria, wants eliminated is the same Amanda Clark who almost eliminated him?
I guess we'll find out! Oh GOD, that season premiere was fantastic. After being somewhat disappointed with the premieres of all my other shows so far (Parks and Rec, Modern Family and South Park), I desperately needed Revenge to pull out all the stops. And it DID. So glad this show is back.
Well is first week in its new time slot seems to be working, the season finale got a 2.4 demo on Weds nights, the season premiere got a 3.2 on Sunday, so happy.
