Everyday, there is new drama in this girl's life. Seriously. Lock her ass up in jail. She needs it. Help her out. She is crying for attention and needs serious help.
Amanda Bynes Smoking Marijuana and Still Driving Illegally
Unbelievable. She got into another minor fender-bender last night just hours after a judge ordered her not to drive while her license is suspended. Cops told TMZ they're scared to death she's going to kill somebody and the public should be afraid.
I always liked her because as a kid she was smart and did not seem like most bratty Hollywood stars. Her parents were very involved in her career and kept her grounded. They retired a few years and moved from California to Texas. So, Amanda was out in LA with basically no family. It looks like this is when her troubles began. At first it was crazy tweets and stuff. Then she got fired from the film HALL PASS.Her last film EASY A, 2 years ago and she had a very small part in that film. She has not worked in years. So, my question is how is she getting by? I know she had some good years and probably invested and what not but still.I would think she would need some sort of income or constant cash coming in to make it and live in a condo in LA.
She could also be lonely. Either way, I feel sorry for her because unlike so many stars like her I think Amanda does have talent. She has great comedic timing and can act.I hope she gets help fast. No one likes a good comeback story more than me.
When Lohan starts to compare herself to you, it's time for rehab. I really hope we hear from Britney Spears soon. And perhaps Randy and Evi Quaid will put in their two cents and give advice on how to escape to Canada and avoid extradition.
She's driving illegally with a suspended license...the evidence is there. She's driving under the influence of a controlled substance...the evidence is there...and yet she's out and about free as a bird, a menace to herself and to society and not one damned thing is being done about it.
God forbid she kills herself or someone else in the process. She won't be the only one to blame because the authorities will be equally at fault for not doing a damned thing about it.
EDIT: Good, they impounded her car. Call a cab missy!
Afterwards one of the clerks told someone, "I was so worried about her. I didn't know what she was doing in [the dressing room]. I didn't know if she was overdosing, or doing drugs or what."
As we first reported -- Amanda's neighbors and fellow gymgoers have become increasingly alarmed ... claiming Amanda has shown worrisome signs of mental distress, including speaking to inanimate objects.
Of course these people said these things. What else are they going to tell the press? That's she's acting like a typical bratty twentysomething? Hardly TMZ-worthy. The only difference between Amanda's behavior and that of probably half the other girls her age is that because Amanda is a celebrity, she gets a pass from the law, so the behavior continues, and tabloids reap the benefits.
Of course she has! Because she can. I've known so many guys and girls that age who do stuff like that practically every day because they can. They simply don't care until they have consequences, and for many, that's only a temporary deterrent. Amanda's getting loads of press and attention for being the next Britney/Lindsay. She's not going to stop until the courts intervene and then she can have a dramatic 45-minute life-changing prison term and a luxurious stint in a posh rehab facility. This she has learned from her celebrity mentors, from the press, and from the law. I see nothing more than a young woman making bad decisions mostly because she's probably encouraged to do so from a variety of sources. The only questions are: Why did it start? and Why does it continue? for which there may be answers worthy of a book tour or perhaps something that may actually be sympathetic. But for now, I only see a celebrity-tabloid food chain that keeps feeding itself.
^ I agree with you. The other thing is, if she doesn't think she has a problem, nobody can really do anything about it until she does get thrown in jail or whatever. She has only made 2 movies after Hairspray came out in 2007, the last one being 2 years ago. Too bad she couldn't find a better way to come back in the spotlight.
Amanda has a long way to go for a job offer like that. She at least has to go to jail for punching a Top Model contestant. Adrienne, perhaps? Or maybe Jade. She's always fun to watch.
The Hollywood Reporter has a pretty interesting article about Amanda, talking about how frustrated she was with her lack of diverse film roles. They also say that she was fired from Hall Pass because she wasn't prepared "due to a recent break-up.
Inside Amanda Bynes Career-Ending Meltdown: I Don't Love Acting Anymore
God, she sounds like a whiny brat. Frustrated with her diversity of roles at age 22, getting fired from the type of role she wanted for being unprepared, and "retires from acting" at age 24. Then chooses to go all Britney Lohan.
Okay there are plenty of contemporary actresses who started way lower on the totem pole than she did and never complained. Instead, let me use Alia Shawkat and Mae Whitman as examples, they found steady careers in supporting roles in movies and TV, showing way more range than Amanda has. I agree with Mr. Matt.
I agree with you Matt. Still, I do feel a little sorry for her. I think she has lived a very sheltered life. I also think she has some mental issues. She doesn't seem very stable to me.
Having said that there are actresses out there who are funnier and have more talent who would kill to be given the opportunity she had. Weird, but it seems like when she was 16 or 17 years old she was a lot more mature then she is now. Maybe it was her parents looking over her or just a good manager, agent, publicist, etc.
Since she no longer enjoys acting and has an interest in fashion, she should move to NYC. Go to school. Study fashion or costume design.I have a feeling a year from now she will be on Anderson Coopers show or Piers Morgan talking about her 'tough times'. Probably write a book and stretch out a little more of her 15 minutes. Plus, if she moves to NYC maybe she will give up driving.
