Well, according to the people on this board, that is precisely the case. To me, Jeremy Jordan looks like a generic 1950s Jewish leading man.

The only Big Jew I want to see in this role is the adorable Noah Weisberg.
I don't think Jordan is a good choice because of his acting so far, though his material ain't been that great either
My main concern is that it will take a directing genius to make it work, John Cameron Mitchell might have had a shot.
