I think you missed dramamama's point suestorm. I believe she was making the point that liking or disliking something is not age dependent. But people are different - and like different things. Every show has people of all ages on both sides.

Statements like "we all agree" and "everybody knows" never go well. Because it's never true.

MAR6411 theater, as in TV, Movies and Music has shows/stars/songs that attract certain demographics, for instance, many teens/20s like music or TV shows that their parents or grandparents hate. same goes the other way. Im pretty sure thats not a radical thought... Hello Generation Gap!

Hi, I have a question. Is Steve Kazee still in the show? Is he any good?

I am an eleven-year-old girl with craniodiaphyseal dysplasia. Also gout. Thanks in advance.

I think we can all agree that it will be boring for you. Your demographic (I just learned this new word) is totally wrong. Everybody knows you are not the right audience. Especially with your disorders.

Is she "fore" real?

After several year of illness and finally recovering from brain surgery, I am once again able to sit in front of Broadway stages, once again.I thank God to be a survivor and I hope you remember to do that as well.

I thank God that I'm not a liar and that I know how to spell.

(Also that I've never been tempted to pose as a 14-year-old girl or a person who can't spell.)

Meanwhile, Once is an exquisite, "once"-in-a-lifetime theatrical experience.

But you're clearly not mature enough to appreciate it, so go see Newsies instead.

I had the same hesitations about seeing Once. I at first thought it was going to be boring and not my type of musical. I wanted to see it, but I wasn't DYING to see it. I decided just to go for it and go see it. I can say that I was definitely not disappointed, but also I wasn't amazed by it. It was pretty much how I predicted it would be. But I for sure don't regret going to see it. I enjoyed it, I just isn't the best musical I've ever seen.

Ambivalence is sort of/not really/kinda not what it's cracked up to be.

Once is really good if you can appreciate nuance. If you need a big smoke breathing dragon clock, then go see Annie instead.

Yes, she did misinterpret my intent. BDN posted that since he was young like the OP, that she wouldn't like the show because he didn't.

My point simply was to point out that his opinion was because of him, not because of his age.

The original poster is clearly a lying lunatic who has Punk'd many of you but Suestorm's later comments are ageist and frankly, ridiculous. Going by her (his?) theory, an old person (and what does she consider old? 32???) would not like American Idiot and a young person (whatever that is) would not like South Pacific. I know young and old who loved both recent productions, as well as young and old who did not like them. Clearly Suestorm does not posses the gift of psychic channelling and should speak only for her (or his) self. But why would I expect anything other than know-it-all arrogance from such a poster.

Suestorm is a troll too. We should ignore all future posts. My mistake for responding.

Carry on.

MATTROGERS, If you can, please show me where i said that young people like ONLY a certain type of show, and an older person doesnt like a certain type of play. I think you are mistaken.

MAR6411 it seems to me you didnt read the whole thread where we were commenting on ONCE. i know i hurt your feelings and youre mad that i corrected you. it wasnt meant maliciously, but if disagreeing with you my royal highness denotes troll to you, please yes, ignore me, i prefer it. i dont need your condescension and crying when i give it back to you
