My whole ting the GOP is saying that we are worse off with Obama because he couldn't turn the economy around in 4 years (which he slowly is doing) so if god forbid Romney takes office and does not turn the economy around in 4 years does tha mean he failed? The economy is not going to turn around in 4 years hell it may take 12 years .

But the thing is-- WE ARE BETTER OFF than we were 4 years ago. We really were in free-fall in November of 2008. Now, the Stock Market is near an all-time high, unemployment is dropping, housing sales are up, foreclosures are down.....

Ryan could've used some mouth moisteners. His drymouth was making me queasy.

But even MITT ROMNEY Says we are better off!

(I WISH that Joe Biden would have bit back when Lyin' Ryan took that swipe at Scranton's unemployment- Paulie's hometown of Janesville WI is in a horrible slump right now.)

Anyway Rachel Maddow dissects the "better off"lie.....
You don't read the statistics?

Did anyone count how many times Paul Ryan took a drink of water? He looked nervous as hell.

^ That's what I noted when Snafu mentioned his voice cracking. I didn't count, but I noticed it like 4 or 5 times at least.

The hair switch reveals how CREEPY PAUL RYAN ACTUALLY LOOKS.

Biden looks very Reagan-esque. Ryan looks very Gollum-esque. What's scary is this is probably what Paul Ryan will look like in ten years.

And now I will have nightmares tonight from that image. Ryan's nose and eyes look too big for his head. It's scary.

Which is why I find it amazing when people talk about how good looking he is.

He's creepy looking.

If you don't stare too hard at him, I could see that. But, once you get the whole picture, it's definitely not pretty.

LOL @ doodlenyc!

You're always so spot-on with descriptions. I distinctly remember when the Hairspray movie came out, you said that Travolta's eyes are close-set to begin with and the way they padded his face/head to make it larger made him look -- and I quote verbatim -- "like a ragdoll sewn by the blind." LOL! It's been over 5 years, but I still remember that line exactly and it still makes me chuckle.
