The Judy fanatics are just upset because the show has the audacity to portray her as what she was, a drugged out, drunken flawed Human Being, not the mythic creature they see her as.

I enjoy Judy Garland's performances and music, but I'm not nearly as devoted as some fans are. I thought it was a solid night of theatre. Would I think the same if it was a play about my beloved Vivien Leigh's mental illness? Can't really say.
