Today when I got home I found in the mail 2 signed photos from Jeremy Jordan, along with a signed Newsies trading card! It took exactly one week. I can't believe how fast that took, Jeremy Jordan is the best! Needless to say, I am extremely happy.
I have to share, I got stuff back from the Newsies cast. Sent 2 window cards to Ben Fankhauser and he returned them fully signed by the cast. I did send a SASE and a donation to Broadway Cares.
To those asking about Emily Skinner: You could try writing her at the address of her new show, since rehearsals have started for The Great American Mousical-- The Norma Terris Theatre 6 N Main St Chester, CT 06412
To those who are getting signed opening night playbills, did you buy an opening night playbill from Playbill.com or did you simply request one from the actor in your letter?
Also, does anyone know the address to send fanmail to the Walter Kerr theater? Is it just...
[Actor Name] Walter Kerr Theatre 219 West 48th Street New York, NY 10036
The one time I got an opening night Playbill from a cast, I didn't request it... I only requested a Playbill signed by the cast (and then didn't realize for months after I got it that it was one from opening night-- I was just thrilled to have received one at all, and didn't look inside!)
Also, yes, that is the address for the Walter Kerr Theatre.
I got something back from Corey Cott within half a week. That was the fastest I ever got anything back and I must say he put a lot of effort & detail into the response. Great guy and a wonderful performer!
When sending from outside the US, anybody know the best way of ensuring a reply without a stamp? I can't seem to find one and am wondering if a few dollars in an envelope would do?
