That was one of greatest bonehead moves of Big Brother history. Danielle is so dumb. This is on the level of Marcellas dumb.

Dan has provided some of the best drama this season, or any season for that matter. He would have my vote, but the Jury members still seem pretty steamed.

Is Dan taking Ian to the finals? I think he has better chance against Danielle. I hope the jury calms down and sees what a brilliant game he has played. Brit seems to be the only one that sees that right now.
That was one of the BEST moments in BB HISTORY! I clapped 'till my hands were raw. Some thoughts: Danielle is a DIMWIT for kissing Dan's A** all summer. Hope she gets the boot she deserves. But had to love her JAW, dropped to the couch! Shane: Brainless and oblivious. DAN: He is trying to make a reputation as EVIL DAN. Not working IMO. He doesn't have the back stabbing class that DR. Will had. He was ruthless with a smile. Dan is just ruthless and a dirty player. Yes, it's just a game and you lie and cheat etc. etc. But it's bad enough to swear on your wife & child...but to put your hands on the Bible? Come on Dan...and you are Claiming to be a self proclaimed good boy Catholic. I wonder what his students think of him for doing that, never mind his family. IAN: I really am rooting for this kid to pull it off. I think if it's bwtn him & DAN, he has a great shot. At least I hope so. Did I say that DANIELLE is a DIMWIT? What a great season!!!
I'm not getting Dan's move to get rid of Shane over his more obvious rivals for the win. I guess he figured Shane would be most likely to get rid of him should he win the last HOH, but he'd be the easiest to beat in the final two. My picks for who was most likely to win, in order: Dan, the jury will realize he played the best and give it to him Ian, good game, but was manipulated by Boogie and Dan Danielle, won some stuff, but also manipulated by Dan Shane, didnt stand a chance to win

I must be watching a different show than everyone else. I really don't think Danielle is all that stupid or dim witted. I think she's just very trusting of Dan. She wouldn't have been able to win that last veto comp if she was all that dumb. Shane, on the other hand... completely clueless and dumber than a bag of rocks.
I also don't get the "Dan has played a dirty game" logic. Really??? It's a competition to win half a million dollars. If you were playing poker, or any other strategic game, you wouldn't be considered a "dirty player" if you succesfully bluffed your way to a win. I think he's played an incredible game - better than Dr. Will and Boogie combined!
I have a sneaking suspicion that if Dan makes it to the final two with Danielle, he'll try to convince the jury to vote for Danielle for the win. I think he knows he's playing for second place. In the real world, he's a coach who has written and published 3 books, with a 4th in the works. He got a chance to plug his books on national T.V., and what better validation of his coaching abilities than to be able to say he got a player he coached to the end of the game and helped her to win half a mil. At this point, win or not, Dan can write his own ticket. And he's a guarantee to return for BB All-Stars.
I agree Luscious. I think Dan's goal is to get him and his one player to the end. I don't think he's aiming for second, but I think he knows he's in a win win situation with him coming in first for a second time, or coming in second and having the player he coached all the way win.
I REALLY hopes Ian goes. He annoys the heck out of me. Between his constant rocking, f-bomb dropping (to look cool) and general cluelessness to life -- he's so annoying and immature. (I know he's only 21, but still)
I still can't believe Danielle took Dan off the block.
SPOILER: it seems as if Danielle lost the first of three HOH competitions and has completely lost it. She's holed up in the HOH room bawling. I really hope Dan stabs him in the back!
dramamama - you know Ian has Aspergers, right? The rocking and weird behavior are a part of that. Considering how debilitating that can be, I think Ian's handled himself pretty well in the game.
I hope Ian wins, honestly. But Dan deserves to. Danielle could have played much better, but she is a FOLLOWER and she is following someone who wants to take her down. But you know, she would not have lasted this long if she were following any of the other "big move" players, so under the circumstances, she has gone as far as she could by riding coattails. Good for her.

Agreed! This felt very scripted. How were the producers able to create this scenario where the contestants spoke so narratively? Zzzzzzz. We KNOW what happened this season, we don't need a recap! We're gonna have a recap at the finale!!!
After last night's After Dark, I'm over Danielle and her whining. She's putting Ian through hell, trying to guilt him into taking her to the final two, or throwing the last part of the HOH competition to Dan. Ian told Dan that he won't do it, and I think he has enough smarts not to allow himself to be manipulated by either Dan or Danielle, but, he doesn't seem to have the emotional maturity and social skills needed to combat Danielle's berating. Hey Danielle... you put all of your trust in someone who repeatedly blindsided you throughout the game, and, as a result, you made some really boneheaded moves toward the end. You were outsmarted and outplayed. Accept it and move on. Enough with the threats. I'm now rooting for Ian to win. And up against Dan, I think he will.
I want more jury house!! I used to like when we got to see them watch the DVDs of the previous episodes and see their reactions. Do they not let them see the DVDs anymore?
I have a love/hate relationship with Danielle. She's not as dumb as her gay boyfriend Shane, but she's been played and manipulated this entire game. She's so damn entertaining though! That dropped jaw when Shane (Ahm so sorry Shane!) was evicted, the mascara tears! She will be a total headcase when this game is over. I would love for her to make a brief appearance in a following season.
Dan still deserves to win this thing. His funeral, manipulation of Frank and then sending Frank's ass to the jury house the following week count as some of the greatest moves in BB history. Getting Danielle to take him off the block to vote off Shane ranks as one of the most entertaining. Dan may have played dirty, but he still played it better than anyone. If Ian had been in Dan's position during the funeral he wouldn't have been able to save himself. Dan is the only player who could have pulled that feat off.
I think that's what made the funeral one of the best moves (if not THE best) in BB history. No one else could have pulled that off. I don't doubt others could have gotten off the block (Dr. Will, for instance), but no one could have done it the way Dan did.
For me, Dan absolutely deserves the win. He easily played the best game this season, even if it was dirty. He controlled the entire house for most of the season, and anything less than a win for him must mean the jury is bitter. In an Ian/Danielle finale, Ian should take it, though with Dan/Shane/Jen voting probably for Danielle, he would not to lock up Britney/Joe/Ashley/Frank. I'm not sure he has that in him - Danielle could win in that scenario.
That said, I think it'll come down to Ian/Dan with Dan winning 4-3 (Danielle/Shane/Britney/Jen).
Ian fan here...can't stand Danielle. Really hopes Dan crosses her also. The tearfest should be wonderful. I really think Ian can win this entire thing if he wins part 2 HOH. Dan **** on too many people.
Looking forward to finale night! Still want Dan to win. I'm on the west coast so I'm staying off my computer tonight to avoid any FB spoilers! This final HOH round and how it goes down should be very interesting :)

Britney without a doubt would vote for Ian, Shane will vote for Ian because he's going to be pissed with Dan, Danielle (from what the blogs say) is FURIOUS with Dan, so she'd probably vote Ian. He'd get Franks vote as well as Ashley's.
My predictions were off, but I'm really glad that Ian won! Dan played an incredible game, but in the end, he just couldn't pull off the final piece of his master plan. He obviously threw the HOH comp so as not to have to be the one to cut Danielle. Ironically, based on the jury's comments, he stood a much better chance of winning up her against her than against Ian. And poor, clueless Danielle. Loyal and gullible right up to the very end. Oh well... it was a really good season of BB! One of the best. Looking forward to seeing the final 3 on The Talk today.
P.S. The only thing that ruined the finale for me was Frank winning the 25Gs. (Ugh!) As I've said time and again, never underestimate the stupidity of the American people. Still can't figure out what anybody sees in that arrogant turd.
