Kyle Dean Massey (''Next to Normal,'' ''Pippin'' ) and Taylor Frey (''How to Succeed,'' ''Finian's Rainbow'' ) will star in ''A Christmas to Treasure'' on Friday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m. (EST ) on Lifetime. Massey and Frey, who are married in real life and have a daughter, will play former best friends who reunite for a holiday treasure hunt ... and sparks fly. The TV movie is written and directed by Jake Helgren.
Thanks for the heads-up. With the current negativity toward the LGBTQ communities, we need couples like this in the public limelight. They represent what many of us have been working for during the past many decades. Bravo to them and to Lifetime!
This is awesome! I don’t follow them on social media so I wouldn’t really have known about this.
I remember Massey also performed as Fiyero in Wicked. Frey was in the off bway musical View from Upstairs. Very good looking guys and am happy for them!
They are a little much on social media. Especially Taylor. But Kyle is cute and I do like their business venture. I don’t find them representative of anything .

They are pretentious and very materialistic . They are NOT representative of my LGBTQ community."
LOL not representative of your community.
They are representative of our LGBT community! Great guys!

Seriously?? Do you actually know them personally? Have you been in a face-to-face conversation with them to call them pretentious and materialistic? If it bothers you that they are successful and have nice things, then you are bloody jealous. If life has dealt you a difficult hand, then showing such hostility at them is just plain dumb.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
Set the DVR for this one a few days ago. Watched the teaser and it looks like it will be just ok and pretty much the same as the rest of the holiday movies on there. But that's why we watch them I guess!
Just scanned Kyle's IG and I didn't see anything particularly pretentious or out of sorts nor would it matter if I did given that this thread is presumably about the movie, not their personal lives.

I was referring to how they portray themselves on social media. With all their homes and product placement. But for gods sake enjoy! Oh and talk about hostility! LOL. Have a good Sunday.
Please remind me who called them materialistic and pretentious? Oh and talk about hostility. "

These two gay gentlemen are talented, successful, in a committed same-sex marriage, and fathers of a beautiful child. Exactly what I would want representatives of my gay community to be.
